On-Site Consultation Terms

1. What you're paying for

The $200 deposit reserves a two-hour on-site consultation with Cole Alder, owner of Designs of Eden. The visit covers a walk of the property, a site assessment, initial design ideas, plant and material recommendations, and rough pricing for any work you'd like proposed. There is no charge for the time we spend talking through ideas at your kitchen table after the walk-through.

2. Credit toward a design package

The full $200 is credited toward any paid design package you sign within 60 days of the on-site consultation. The credit is applied against the first invoice for the design package and is not redeemable for cash. If you don't move forward with a design package, the deposit covers the consultation itself.

3. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel and receive a full refund if you let us know at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment are non-refundable — that window covers blocked time on the schedule and round-trip travel to your property.

Refunds are issued back to the original payment method and typically clear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

4. Rescheduling

You can reschedule once at no charge if you give us at least 24 hours' notice. A second reschedule, or a reschedule requested less than 24 hours before the appointment, forfeits the deposit, and a fresh deposit is required to book again.

5. No-shows

If we arrive at the scheduled time and address and no one is available to walk the property, the deposit is forfeited and a new deposit is required to rebook. We'll wait 15 minutes past the scheduled start before treating the appointment as a no-show.

6. Service area

On-site consultations are limited to the North Texas / DFW metroplex. If your property is outside that area, contact us first — we may still be able to help, but it will be a custom quote rather than the standard $200 deposit.
